Team Black, advised by First Sgt. Lyon, is one of the two Unit Troy drill teams. They compete in field meets that test their skill in multiple events such as Color Guard, Armed Exhibition, Unarmed Regulation, and more. Consisting mostly of upperclassmen, Team Black tends to require more training and experience to join. The team usually qualifies for Navy Nationals, one of the most important competitions of each year, while also placing regularly. Students may see them perform at various school rallies throughout the year.
