About TROY NJROTC

The Navy Junior Reserve Officers Training Corps (NJROTC) is a federally sponsored high school program that educates and trains students to develop a leadership mentality, attention to detail, and problem solving skill set. This program can be found in hundreds of high schools throughout the United States. Troy's NJROTC program helps benefit the school, the community, and most importantly, the cadets.

Troy High School’s NJROTC program takes pride in its many accomplishments, including:

  • Beating over 600 other programs in the nation to be ranked the best Navy JROTC program in the nation in 2009.
  • Claiming the honor of being a nationally recognized top notch program and participating in multiple national competitions.
  • Boasting over 400 cadets, qualifying as the biggest NJROTC program in California and one of the biggest programs in the nation.
  • Recruiting over a hundred freshmen and expecting similar numbers in the coming years
  • Offering multiple fun and resourceful opportunities to the cadets, including the chance to join numerous competitive teams and obtain community hours through community service events.
