The drones team competes in the Aerial Drone Competition by the REC Foundation, which involves obstacle course navigation through manual and autonomous flying. The drones team fosters cadets' passion for engineering, coding, and aviation. Despite being one of the newer additions to Toy NJROTC, the team has qualified to the All-Service Nationals, Viper Western Regionals, and special events, achieving JROTC national grand champion in 2024. We consistently do well in competitions, and are one of the top teams in the nation.
